MINDPAC MONKEY is a groundbreaking yet unsettling artwork in which a monkey, equipped with an implanted brain chip, plays the iconic video game Pac-Man using only its thoughts. Inspired by Neuralink’s MindPong Monkey, this piece raises critical questions about the ethics and implications of neural implants.
The monkey, seemingly free to play, is in reality subjected to a system where external forces—scientists, corporations, and potentially even governments—determine how and in what context it can use its thoughts.
